2014 - Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy / Танец Феи Драже

Is “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy” the most recognized piece of music from The Nutcracker Suite? It certainly pervades holiday advertisments! Tchaikovsky featured the celesta in this composition, a newly-invented instrument at the time. Its bell tones are imitated here with sampled electric guitar harmonics, carefully pieced together.
